Piping & Instrumentation Engineer
Role Overview
The position involves designing and supervising piping layouts, pneumatic systems, cable routing, and instrumentation integration to ensure clean, efficient, and GMP-compliant installations. You will collaborate with automation, electrical, and mechanical teams to deliver high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design piping, cable tray, conduit, and utility layouts
- Prepare P&ID, GA, routing, and isometric drawings
- Integrate instrumentation with PLC/HMI panels
- Supervise on-site installation and resolve routing challenges
- Ensure compliance with food industry hygiene, safety, and GMP standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support commissioning
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in piping layout and industrial installations (food industry preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, instrument wiring, and P&ID development
